Michelle Asare is the Founder & Principal Designer of Asare Design Inc. Born in Toronto, now based in Milan and practising globally, Michelle’s work is shaped by worldly inspiration through a cosmopolitan lens. 

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Toronto before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Yorkville University. In 2021 she founded Asare Design, a studio dedicated to crafting bespoke residential and commercial interiors.

Michelle’s pursuit of design is grounded in her philosophy of the profound impact of a curated environment. A thoughtfully designed space has the power to elicit our aspirations, lift daily life, and inspire an elevated state of being. Our homes and spaces are more than just backdrops to our lives; they are active participants in our personal narratives. 

At the heart of Michelle’s work is a belief that interiors should be purposeful, aspirational, and poetic. Her approach treats each commission as a chance to curate the moments that shape life — to create rooms that welcome ritual, spark joy, and offer sanctuary from the outside world. Beauty, for Michelle, is found in authenticity: an interior that feels original, emotionally resonant, and sincerely timeless.
